Each 2012 movie review says the same thing, in that the 2012 movie is the dumbest, loudest film of the year. But 2012 movie reviews have different opinions on how good that each. The 2012 movie reviews that say it's a bad thing are a bit larger than the good ones, though. No 2012 movie
2012 Movie Reviews Fortell Hysterically Bad Apocalypse review was ever going to call it a smart movie, especially since Roland Emmerich is destroying the world again. But the 2012 movie reviews at least hint that Emmerich really has outdone himself - mainly in how 2012 may be his hysterically awful masterpiece.
The 2012 Mayan theory that the world will end on December 21, 2012 is merely the jumping point for Emmerich laying waste to the planet again. But although the trailers gave away most of the big money shots of destruction, Emmerich somehow fills two-and-a-half more hours of screen time in 2012. The apocalypse soon gives way to John Cusack and his estranged family trying to survive, while the government conspires to only save the elite from certain death.
Almost every 2012 movie review says that the movie isn't just bad, but laughably, unbelievably bad in a way that even Emmerich hasn't done before. Yet there are a fair share of reviews which argue that it isn't a bad thing. Still, many more of them say that it is.
The so bad that it's bad 2012 movie reviews were just worn out by 150 minutes of "disaster porn" and Emmerich's continued inability to make human drama interesting. While billions and billions die, Emmerich seems only interested in how many close calls Cusack and his family survive, in the ultimate disaster movie cliche - though not the only one used.
The 2012 movie reviews mostly agree that this is the ultimate disaster movie, as every stunning and awful aspect of the genre is crammed together by it's new master. Somehow, Emmerich got respectable names like Cusack, Chjwetel Ejiofor, Oliver Platt, Danny Glover, and Woody Harrelson to play along - with only Harrelson getting intentional laughs, according to reviews.
